The New York Giants and New York Jets have called Metlife Stadium home since the stadium debuted in 2010. SoFi Stadium will become the second NFL stadium to host two teams (Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers) when it opens in 2020. Despite being located in a swampy and industrial area of New Jersey, Metlife Stadium does not disappoint. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Metlife Stadium seating chart to help football fans decide where to sit before purchasing their New York Giants and New York Jets tickets.

Where To Sit At Metlife Stadium

Metlife Stadium is one of the largest stadiums in the National Football League and is a fairly easy stadium for first time visitors to navigate. The stadium does offer a good share of premium seating options. The core seating areas include the lower level seats, EY Coaches Club, Toyota Club, United Rentals Club, the mezzanine level seats, and the terrace level seats. We’ll begin by discussing the lower level seats.

Lower Level

The lower level seats at Metlife Stadium consist of sections 101 through 149. The number of rows in the lower level sections will greatly vary but will begin with row 1, and go no higher than row 48. There are between 28 and 34 seats in each row on the lower level. For the end zone sections, there are nearly 50 rows per section.

Metlife Stadium’s 50 yard line seats on the lower level are closer to the sideline than any other NFL stadium at only 46 feet.Behind section 143 is the New York Football Giants Legacy Club. The Legacy Club is a museum that opens at kickoff and remains open through halftime of all New York Giants home games. Section 139 is part of the Metlife 50 Club (see below).

The New York Jets’ and New York Giants’ sideline is located in front of sections 112, 113, and 114. The visiting team’s sideline is located in front of sections 137, 139, and 140.

The New York Jets’ player tunnel is located beneath section 123. For New York Jets home games, the visiting team's tunnel is located underneath section 104.

EY Coaches Club

The EY Coaches Club is the most exclusive club at Metlife Stadium. The EY Coaches Club seats consist of sections 111C through 115C. The EY Coaches Club sections will have between 25 and 29 rows of seats beginning with row 1. There are between 16 and 29 seats in each row.

The perks for the EY Coaches Club at Metlife Stadium include the following.

  • All-inclusive food and soft drinks
  • Access to an on-field patio behind the Giants' and Jets' sideline
  • VIP parking provided for guests
  • VIP entrance into Metlife Stadium
  • Comfortable padded seats with additional leg room
  • Access to a furnished and climate-controlled lounge equipped with flat-screen HD televisions, private bars, and dining areas
  • EY Coaches Club is located between the home and visiting team's locker rooms

Metlife 50 Club

The Metlife 50 Club is located in section 139 for New York Jets home games only. Section 139 is a regular section for New York Giants home games. The Metlife 50 Club is located directly behind the visiting team’s sideline on the west side of Metlife Stadium. The Metlife 50 Club provides indoor access to a club lounge with complimentary food and drinks, VIP parking as well as multiple indoor bars. New York Jets fans will also have access to an outdoor patio that offers high top seating.

Mezzanine Level

The mezzanine level is Metlife Stadium’s 2nd level and is home to the mezzanine level seats, Toyota Club, and United Rentals Club (see below). The mezzanine level seats are located in the end zones and consist of the following sections.

  • Sections 201 through 207A
  • Sections 245A through 250B
  • Sections 220A through 232A

The number of rows for the mezzanine level sections will greatly vary. Most sections have between 12 and 18 rows of seats, beginning with row 1. There are between22 and 24 seats in each row. Section 224B is a designated alcohol-free section. The mezzanine level seats are perfect for the football fans that can’t afford to sit on the lower level but also want to avoid sitting on the terrace level.

Toyota Club

The Toyota Club seats at Metlife Stadium consist of sections 232C through 245C (west mezzanine level). The rows for the Toyota Club sections will be numbered either 1 through 11 or 1 through 14. There are between 21 and 24 seats in each row. The perks for the Toyota Club at Metlife Stadium include the following.

  • Access to the Toyota Club
  • All-inclusive food, snacks, and soft drinks
  • Access to reserved VIP parking
  • Comfortable padded seats with additional leg room

United Rentals Club

The United Rentals Club seats at Metlife Stadium consist of sections 207C through 220C (east mezzanine level). The rows for the United Rentals Club seats will be numbered either 1 through 13 or 1 through 14.There are between21 and 24 seats in each row. The United Rentals Club was previously known as the Touchdown Club as well as the Chase Club.

The perks for the United Rentals Club at Metlife Stadium include the following.

  • Access to the furnished and climate-controlled United Rentals Club equipped with flat-screen HD televisions and private bars
  • Select opportunities for field access before or after the game
  • Upscale concessions
  • Less wait at restrooms and concessions
  • Access to autograph sessions for New York Giants and New York Jets alumni
  • Comfortable padded seats with additional leg room

300 Level (Terrace Level)

The terrace level seats at Metlife Stadium consist of sections 301 through 350. The number of rows for the terrace level sections will vary. Most sections begin with row 1 and end with row 26. Row 5 is the first row in many terrace level sections. There are between24 and 27 seats in each row on the terrace level.

Metlife Stadium’s upper level offers the most affordable tickets for New York Giants and New York Jets home games.

Luxury Suites

Metlife Stadium has more than 200 luxury suites available for lease for New York Giants and New York Jets home games. The perks for the luxury suites at Metlife Stadium include the following.

  • Access to a furnished and climate-controlled suite equipped with flat-screen HD televisions
  • Assigned suite attendant
  • Tickets for between 12 and 30 guests
  • Various catered food and beverage packages available
  • Pre-game field passes

The Hangar

The Hangar is a group seating option located on Metlife Stadium's mezzanine level that provides guests with the following perks.

  • Access to an outdoor patio
  • Various catered food and beverage packages available
  • Private bar options
  • Less wait at restrooms and concessions

Commissioner’s Club

The Commissioner’s Club is a 10,700 square foot private club located behind sections 135 through 142 that can accommodate up to 350 people. The Commissioner’s Club is equipped with dining areas, upscale leather furniture, luxurious finishes, fireplaces, flat-screen HD televisions, and gourmet cooking stations.

Mobile Ticketing

The New York Jets and New York Giants no longer welcome PDF tickets printed at home at Metlife Stadium. Football fans are instead encouraged to download the New York Jets and New York Giants mobile apps to gain entry into Metlife Stadium. Season Tickets

All New York Giants season ticket holders and nearly all New York Jets season ticket holders are required to purchase a personal seat license (PSL) before having the ability to purchase season tickets. After a PSL is purchased, a fan will be obligated to purchase season tickets every season thereafter until they sell or transfer their PSL to another fan that wants the seats. Yes, PSLs can be a risky investment. Companies such as STR Marketplace and PSL Source offer their services by acting as the middle man between fans that wish to sell or transfer their PSLs to other fans. The New York Jets do not require fans to purchase a PSL for season tickets on the terrace level (300 level).
