What can we accomplish by working together?Ten years ago, Énergie NB Power approached UNB's Canadian Rivers Institute and Dr. Allen Curry, looking for expertise to help decide the future of the Mactaquac Generating Station.A decade later, that first conversation has led to world-leading hydroelectric dam renewal knowledge, more than $14 million worth of research work, training opportunities for more than 200 early-career professionals, and much more. This year, that amazing collaboration has been recognized with a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Synergy Award! Congratulations to Dr. Curry, to our colleagues at NB Power, and to everyone who has been involved in this project.Read more: https://lnkd.in/g6_cQnMc
